ADC performs in APAP | NYC 2012! We will be showcased @ The Ailey Citigroup Theater by Jodi Kaplan & Associates.
ADC will perform a patron favorite, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! *Based upon the Dr. Seuss book, Oh! The Place You’ll Go!, is a theatrical and comedic exploration of what it means to discover the world anew. With an inventive and quirky movement vocabulary, dancers in colorful costumes find themselves brought together on a strange journey in a strange new land. Throughout their journey, dancers support each other with striking lifts, break off for virtuosic solo moments, and come back together again for dynamic group phrase-work. As the characters interact and collectively overcome obstacles, individual personalities emerge and grow. Fusing Contemporary and Broadway dance, Oh! The Place You’ll Go! is a treat for all audiences.
Ailey Citigroup Theater
405 West 55th Street (at 9th Avenue). Just 3 short blocks from the Hilton!
*The Ailey Citigroup Theatre seats over 250 people!
